Задачи урока:
Отработка лексического материала; совершенствование навыков аудирования; развитие монологических навыков и умений.
Воспитание цивилизованной личности; культуры мышления; общения и поведения.
Образовательная:
Повышение уровня владения языковым материалом и говорением как одним из видов речевой деятельности.
Совершенствовать навыки связной речи, развивать мышление, память, стимулировать самостоятельность студентов.

Ход урока:
Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you!
Students: Good morning, our teacher! We are glad to see you too!
T.: Thank you. Sit down. Let’s start our lesson.

T.: Our topic is «William Shakespeare».
The aim of the lesson is speaking about his birthplace, family and work.
T.: We have no teams today. Each student will do the tasks and get “a star”.
Do you know any words of famous people about reading? What are they? “Reading makes a full man”. “Reading is to the mind what exercises to the body”. All books are divisible into two classes: the book of hour and the book of all time”.

T.: The first task is to answer the question. Listen to me carefully, please!
1. What is Shakespeare famous for? (W.S. is the greatest of all playwrights and poets of all times.)
2. Where is William Shakespeare born? (He was born in 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon.)
3. Where did he study? (He studied at local grammar school.)
4. What did he like to do when he was young? (Young William liked to watch actors who visited Stratford-upon-Avon.)
5. What was William’ father business? (William’ father business was making and selling leather gloves.)
6. His mother was a farmer’s daughter, wasn’t she? (Yes, she was.)
7. How many children did Shakespeare have? (Shakespeare had three children.)
8. When did he start to write? (He started to write when he went to work in London.)
9. The Globe Theatre was built in 1599, wasn’t it? (Yes, it was.)
