ВНЕКЛАССНОЕ МЕРОПРИЯТИЕ ПО АНГЛИЙСКОМУ ЯЗЫКУ
ДЛЯ 5 -6 КЛАССОВ ПО ТЕМЕ: «Великобритания», «Лондон»
(УМК Биболетовой М.З., Добрыниной Н.В., Ленской Е.А. «Enjoy English»)
«I would like to visit London»
Вид мероприятия:
Соревнование между 2мя группами. Обобщение знаний по теме «Лондон», «Великобритания»
Цель: совершенствование ранее приобретенных навыков устной речи: построение монологических высказываний, составление диалогов, закрепление страноведческих знаний по заданной теме.
Образовательные задачи:
1)формировать лингвострановедческие знания;
2) активизировать навыки монологической речи по теме «Sights of London»;
3) практиковать учащихся в диалогической речи;
4) развивать навыки монологической речи
Воспитательные задачи:
1)воспитание толерантного отношения к культуре других стран;
2) воспитание личностных качеств (трудолюбия, активности, умения работать в сотрудничестве с другими, коммуникабельности, личной и взаимной ответственности, находчивости, творческого отношения к делу);
3) способствовать воспитанию чувства любви и уважения к культуре другой страны;
4)формировать готовность учащихся принимать участие в диалоге культур.
Развивающие задачи:
1) развивать память, внимание, логическое мышление;
2) развивать умение анализировать, сравнивать;
3) развивать творческую фантазию.
Планируемые результаты: уметь рассказывать и вести беседу по теме;
Оборудование и оснащение: мультимедийное оборудование, презентация «Sights of London»
Рекомендации по проведению мероприятия:
Данное мероприятие проводится в 5-6 классах после изучения темы « What places of interest would you like to see?» в 5 классе и «The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Nothern Ireland»

Hello, boys and boys!

We have a thrilling competition between two groups. So, he first group-«Travelers», the second-«Explores»
Today we are going to visit London. Of course we can’t visit it now in a real life, but we shall try to do it in our imagination.
Now let’s start our trip!

Pupil1. Hi! My name is … I like to travel very much, because it is very interesting and funny. I would like to visit cities in Europe and in America. And I think that our English lessons will help me on that
Pupil2 I like to travel, because this is interesting and exciting And I believe that I’ll visit England. It’s my dream.
England is the largest part of Great Britain. The population is about 51 million. The official language is English. It is a very interesting country with a long history. The capital of England is London. Many beautiful bridges across the Thames connect the south and north of the city. On 23rd April England celebrates its National day.
Pupil3: I like travelling because this is cool, you will be in many countries. You buy new national clothes, souvenirs, make new friends. It is interesting and beautiful!
Pupil4: I like to travel too. I can learn a language and visit new places there.
Pupil 5: Of course, I like to travel too. I want to tell you about the capital of Great Britain. London is the largest city in Europe. Over 7 million people live in it. It’s one of the most famous and interesting cities in the world. There are lots of places to visit: different museums, theatres, and an IMAX cinema. London has got many places just for fun too: London Eye, the London zoo and many lovely parks and squares.
Pupil 6: Travelling is my dream. I know some facts about London. London is the city of tourists. Tourists always visit Westminster and Big Ben. They want to see the clock and hear the bells. Big Ben is really a bell. The bell is over two meters tall and chimes every quarter of an hour in the morning you can hear it on the radio: “This is the BBC. The time is six o’clock.” And then you hear the deep boom of Big Ben six times. The tower of Big Ben is a symbol of London and of Britain.
Pupil 7: What about travelling? It is my hobby. People usually say some popular words about Great Britain: the Royal family, a foggy island, old castles, red buses, football and tea. I want to know more about traditions, customs and holidays.
Pupil 8: I have to say some words climate. The climate here is rather cool and changeable but it often rains which is good for plants. The British love their gardens full of beautiful flowers. Great Britain is rich in gardens and parks which are famous all over the world.
Pupil 9: London is my dream. I want to travel there sometimes. I would like to see Вig Ben and Trafalgar square.
Pupil 10: I want to visit Tower Bridge.
